1,766 m² of Grip – DairyGrip on Feed Pad, Legend on the Apron
Keith Lane of Lane Farming Company Ltd had a problem familiar to a lot of Canterbury dairy operations. The exit race apron was slippery, and the feed pad needed a surface tough enough to handle daily scraping. Two different problems. Two different products. One job.
For the feed pad, Keith chose DairyGrip rolls — 1,566 m² of heavy-duty rubber that gives cows a softer, grippier surface to stand on while they’re feeding. It handles the scraper without complaint. He had already run the same setup on another feed pad and was happy enough with the result to replicate it here.
For the apron, 200 m² of Legend rubber matting dealt with the slippery exit race. Cows leaving the shed now have the grip underfoot they need.
Total install: 1,766 m² across both surfaces.
This is Keith’s second NumatAGRI job done this way — same thinking, same result.
