Numat Group Limited – Returns & Refunds Policy.

 

1. Our Returns Policy

At Numat Group Limited, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how to return products if you change your mind or if something goes wrong.

2. Return Timeframe

You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return for a change of mind. This timeframe does not apply to faulty or defective goods (see section 6 below).

3. Return Approval Required

You must request approval before returning any item. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

To request a return:

• Provide your order number and reason for return
• Include proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

Once approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your return.

4. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

• Unused and in the same condition you received them
• In original packaging
• In resaleable condition

You must also provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for a change of mind:

• Custom-made or cut-to-order products
• Kitset sheds (once packaging is opened)

Note: Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act still apply to these items if they are faulty or not as described.

6. Faulty or Defective Products

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at info@numat.co.nz or 0800 686 119.

You must provide:

• Proof of payment
• Photo of the defect or damage

We will assess the issue and, if proven faulty, arrange repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Return shipping for genuinely faulty or defective goods is FREE.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Change of Mind Returns: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Faulty/Defective Returns: Return shipping is free if the product is proven to be faulty or defective.

8. Where to Send Returns

Only send items back after receiving approval from us.

9. Restocking Fee

A 10% restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns. This fee covers handling, inspection, and repackaging costs. The restocking fee does not apply to faulty or defective goods.

10. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at info@numat.co.nz or 0800 686 119.

11. Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return it for a refund (subject to this policy), then place a new order for the item you want.

12. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or do not match their description, you have legal rights to a remedy regardless of this returns policy.
